Description: Elswick ~tradesmans cycle~ standing in guards van of an old slamdoor train. I have since replaced the plastic seat with a proper Brooks B66 saddle and acquired a trailer which I happily cycle around with up to 100lb loads. Single speed, rod brakes, fitted with 26 x 2 x 1 3/4 inch road tyres. It has also been used to take 2 children in the trailer and a proper picnic basket in front of the Elswick whilst my other half uses her favourite old Hudson ladies cycle.
