Val-I am just now trying to research for information on an old folding bike that I picked up at the city dump! It has a decal with the word "Brevettata". Mine has the name C. Rizzato @ Co., Padova, Italy, and the model is "Duemila", whichis Italian for "twentieth century". Cesare Rizzato was quite famous for bicycles, scooters, etc. His company has become the present Atala bicycle company in Italy. This bike looks quite old to me. It has a very "euro" look in the fenders which caught my eye. The tires are "Wolber", pretty cracked but still hold air. Does your bike have any other identifying info on it? I'd be interested to hear from you or anyone else with more information. Trying to decide if I should keep this old thing or take it back to the dump. I'll share any new info I find with you. Ruth

Hello, Yes, I have one in near perfect condition. The only info I can get is that it is very rare and not many on the planet as of today. So I would say, Dont throw it away. Thanks

Looking at a red, vintage, huffy daisy tandem. What is a good asking price? It is above average condition.

Is it single speed or kick-back two speed? I'd think the two speed would be worth a little bit more. In either case, I wouldn't pay more than about $100 for it. A Schwinn Twinn (higher quality) often goes for around $200. (See ebay item 320121803560; a 5-speed good condition Twinn that will probably go for about $200) I'd stay away from Huffies unless you really have a liking for them.

Schwinn followed the same guidelines regarding the serial numbers on all their bikes, regardess of the type ...
After 1965, there were two letters before the serial number, with the first one being the month and the second one being the year. (the letter "O" was skipped in the 1970's)
There is a chart on OLD ROADS for Schwinns as well ...
The one you have has the two letters in front of the numbers,
Letters M and then C indicates it was built December 1967 ... the other one without the letters in front of the numbers ...
Before 1965, one letter was used to indicate the month, the after the first letter was the year ... (probably 1960-65)
before 1960, I believe it was just numbers ...

Well, my info indicates that prior to 1952 there were codes for models other than standard bikes, so the serial number location is important. if the number were under the BB, however, it would begin with T.
