A few years ago I bought this bike off an elderly man, who said it was the first bike to come out of Japan after WW11. It's time I found out more info about it. It's a five speed and its' patent is Kobe Japan. The model is Jupiter Beat Deluxe. Does anyone know anything about it or who I should contact? Thanks.

My failed time travel mission to 1927 England.
Hey boss!

He say's that the way we do things today will be forgotten, and that he want's a job here with us makin things! Talking about the industry drying up and that things in the future being made by overseas competition. H's askin about how we make things, wanting to see the whole place. I don't know how he got in here and lookit the funny way he's dressed!

Look in his pockets! He' got all sorts of replacement parts for our model 46 lightweight bike.
Claims he has one in red and ya know we don't offer that a color model!
"So you say youre from the future do yose?" "Talking crazy talk I hear."
"Sorry lad I can't take you to see tha director! He's a busy gentleman he is!" I see ya been poking about in the main office have ya? Give me those drawings! That stuff be trade secrets that there stuff be!"

Then again I would only have to go to a cycle shop!

Does anyone know if there is a swap meet in Hershey in 2002?
Thanks

As far as I know the fall AACA meet will be going on again in October 2002. The new stadium should be open and I hear there will be vendors in the paved lot possibly eliminating the yellow field.

SWAP MEETS:   Swap Meet, Jr. Stingray, disc brake... posted by: Patrick on 1/30/2002 at 4:29:37 AM
There is a nice little swap meet on Feb. 16 at State Fair Park in Milwaukee. Good mix of Stingrays, ballooners, old school BMX, Ralieghs etc... Look up State Fair Park, Feb. events on the internet for more details. I will be there and am also looking for some help dating this Jr. Stingray #JM-507057. Also looking for disc for a 72 Krate. Just aquired the hub and already had the caliper, but am missing the disc. Any and all help is appreciated. I could arrange to meet anyone with help at this show. See you there - Patrick

Howdy. If I "count my fingers" right, "JM" decodes to September 1976 build date. Can't help you with the disc brake setup - maybe I'll find one in my next barn cleanout (right!)

This is just too cool to sel. Sorry, but you have to keep it!

Well, where would you find out about it? Perhaps old comic books? Or ask a comic book dealer? The comic magazine company themself?Perhaps ask the price guide author in the price guide books. 1970's stuff, kids memorabilia. Good Question, Phyllis!

Guys, What do you say?
