Of course I'm not the seller or relative, this ones on French ebay, but I thought of you all; when I saw it, you might think it is worth a glimpse.

If the link does not work, it is item # - "Numéro de l'objet: 8813418998" and should work in any ebay, but www.ebay.fr for sure.

AGE / VALUE:   Trying to identify replica Boneshaker posted by: David Belknap on 4/5/2006 at 7:52:33 PM
I'm trying to identify a reproduction Boneshaker bicycle for a friend. I hope someone might be able to help.

My goal is to both identify this bike and to discover as much as possible about its origins. Any information would be most appreciated.

My friend purchased this bike from an auction around 1985 and has no information about it. It is in overall excellent shape except for some peeling paint and a couple of scuffs.

Here is my website with photos and further details: http://home.earthlink.net/'dwbelknap/

Thanks,
David

MISC:   Fixed gear rider question! posted by: Dan on 3/25/2006 at 8:30:28 PM
I picked up an early fix gear non-braking mens bike last summer which has 26inch clincher steel wheels. Tire size says Champion 26x1.375, this bicycle is missing the headbadge so the maker is unknown. I'm thinking this bike is from the 1910-'30's era my question is what time period would this tire size been most likely used?
