Looking to find out what brand or type muscle bike had a similar chaingaurd decal to that of the Dodge Superbee Car by: 24.171.87.11
My friend has just given me a 20" chrome frame, that closely looks like the all-chrome lowrider bike frames. But it has a Huffy headbadge on it, as well as abit of rust. it had a bmx-styled seat, and handlebars, so I guess it was made in the 60's, and was owner-converted when the 70's bmx craze hit. Does anyone know what model Huffy this would be? Chrome, with a Stingray-type frame? -Thanx for any info you might have. O, it has half-fenders, as well. by: 69.154.247.205
I just picked up a Speedster. It is green. It had 24 in rims. It also had D 991538 on the back end of the frame. It is a one speed with a bookrack of some sort on above the back fender. Can anyone help me with the year this bike was made? by: 63.135.211.79
Click on "General Resources" at the top of the page. You'll find Serial Number charts there. by: 96.233.59.26
If you remove the crank, and look at the middle of it, there will be two letters, I think they are SA, followed by two numbers, then two more numbers. The last two numbers on the crank are the last two numbers of the year the crank was made; and the bike would've been made that year, or the year after. ex: (SA 35 63) = 1963. I hope I have been some help to you. Please let me know what was stamped on the crank. My e-mail is thomas.j.franks@hotmail.com by: 69.154.247.205
I found a Buzz buggy bicycle in my basement and have come up short on information.I found that it was made in the early 70's and thats it.I was wondering if anyone knows it est. value if any.The tires are flat the tape for the handle bars is missing and the snake pic on the chain guard is missing.some light surface rust on the chrome piece but everything is there.Thank you for any info you might have by: 216.204.57.19
I just got a bike that looks sort of like a Huffy Rail Dragster I already have. They even have a similar magenta color, sissy bar, white banana seat, though the ape hanger handlebars are not as long as my Huffy. The chain guard says Executive. I can't find any other information about it. Does anyone know anything about this sort of bike? When was it made and who made it? Thanks! by: 64.12.117.8
