How can you tell the difference between A convertible and A non convertible. Mine has A little clip on the down post that I have never seen on A bike before.

BCA = Bicycle Corporation of America. Were based in Allentown, PA up to the mis 80's at best. Defunct due to Chapter 11. They'll surface every now and again. Nothing spectacular, but due to limited Corporate lifespan, in years to come might show some curio value if left unscathed.

IMHO - Folders are cool bikes. I'm doing a Raleigh 20 HotRod project. Ride it and enjoy it

the only stingray type bike I have seen with "all pro" on the chainguard was a K-Mart Huffy, look at the chain ring for the star type ring. this bike actually had K-mart decals
on it, maybe that explains the spray bomb job on the bike you found.

My husband and I spotted a bike on the side of the road. He thought it was a schwinn but turned out to be an amx swift hornet. he says its a 1973(there is a date on it apparently), but I was told that it was sold at toys r us 3 years ago??? I've tried to find it online but no luck, it is gold with banana seat any clue?? Thanks :)

I saw those AMX bikes at Toys R US a few years back. A gold one that looks like a Schwinn Krate and a Light blue one that resembles a deluxe stingray. I could not find out much about the company.

Checkout Sportmart Sporting Goods. They now have a red one out for about $150.00

MISC:Imperial Sport Bike posted by: Sean Daly on 9/6/2003 at 12:29:55 AM
At a recent yard sale I bought an old banana-seat bike. So far, I haven't been able to find any info on it. The head badge reads "Imperial" and the chainguard says "Sport Bike".
The serial number is S194055. It is a coaster brake bike with a front caliper brake also. Triple-tree fork, handlebars, and sissy bar are chrome, the rest of the bike is bright orange. I'm going to post a picture of it on this website. Any information about it would be appreciated. Thanks
