| I found an all original Westpoint "The Flying Wedge" with a 5 speed "click shift". It is for sale by the original owner but I'm looking for some info. and have had no luck so far. It is a 1968-1973 and has a rear slick, banana seat and looks like a dragster or cruiser. I'm not a collector...sorry about the non-detailed info. Any help appreciated. John |

WANTED: Info on "Bluebeard"

| Anyone out there ever hear of a bike called a "Bluebeard"? It was a bike I had in the early/mid 70's. I'm sure that was the model name. Don't remember who made it though. It was a blue stingray knockoff with a 3 speed stick shifter and a blue and white seat with a wave design on it. I just bought my first Schwinn (a very dusty '69 one speed stingray fastback- I don't think it's been ridden in 20 years or so) Any info on the Bluebeard would be appreciated. Thanks. |
