| I may be crazy but I'm restoring a 70s vintage Rollfast Scoot from my childhood. It was the best wheelieing/ramp jumping bike in the neighborhood. When I climbed on that bike I was Evel Knievel. I'm in need of an NOS or reproduction gooseneck sticker, I would appreciate any help.

your not crazy! that is why we do what we do, to capture a
piece of our childhood.
now, as for the scoot, i have a parts bike.
the frame is in pretty nice shape and so is the chainguard.
but, i'm thinking that i may be able to steam off the headbadge and you could reglue it.
unless, of course, you wish to restore another scoot, then we could
do some dealing. what color is yours? mine is green.

| Has anyone ever purchased a bike from Joe? If so, are his descriptions accurate or is one dissapointed when the bike arrives? Also, does he carefully package the bike, or just throw it in a box, duct tape it shut and leave it to the mercy of the "Angry Gods of UPS"? Any info would be appreciated.

| This is already at 200.00 and the auction is still going. It has a mismatched chainguard, origonal paint is scraped up and aside from the 2 speed kickback hub it doesn't look like much. I shouldn't be surprised to see this ratty lookin thing bring 200.00. This is a good example of the popularity and desirability of the Sting Ray. |

| I have a 20" inch rim and slik tire and I am wondering if anyone can tell me what it belongs to. It is a 2 or 3 speed internal hub and the tire has raised white letters that read GRAN TOUR GT with checkered flags on both sides of the text. Anyone out there that can place this? thanks |

| I recently found and purchased a Monark Marauder at a flea market,but for the life of me I cannot find any info. on this bicycle.It is a grip shift 2 speed and it looks like a stingray type bike.The rear tire is 20x2.125 Uniroyal large whitewall.Serial # 6H394667.The rear reflector is by Troxel Corp., Moscow Tennessee and has SAE-B-62 coding. | I have not heard of this particular bicycle before, but I have read that Huffy acquired Monark (in the late 1950's, I think), and your serial number looks like a Huffy serial number from 1966. So my guess is that the bike was manufactured by Huffy in 1966. If you could post or email a picture of it, I could tell if it had any Huffy characteristics. |

| I don't have a serial number list, but I was told by a long-time Huffy bike plant worker that the first digit of the serial number (preceding the letter), is the last digit of the year. This does seem to apply to Huffy bikes from the late 1950's to the early 1970's (the bikes I have are from 1957 to 1972, and this method appears to be correct for these bikes). You have to use other clues to determine what decade the bike is from, such as the chainwheel design, style or model name of bike, etc. I'm trying to compile enough information to submit to this site at some point. |

| I have a Montegomery Wards Hawthorne Formula V bicycle. It is a 5 speed with the shifter on the frame, origional metallic purple, with excellent seat and handlebar grips (no rips) The frame is in great condition, no rust, but the crome is in bad condition. I am almost 100% it has all the origional parts, even down to the plastic nut thread covers. I may be interested in selling the bike in the near future, but was wanting to know an approximation of the value of this bike, and if it worth having the parts re-cromed.
