I have a yellow and black schwinn heavy duti i think is between 1965-1976, not sure can't find serial number. please give me a little insight if possible. by: 74.138.52.217
an old post read, "Serial numbers were under the bottom hanger bracket until 1952 when they were moved to the left rear dropout. They were moved again in 1972 to the head tube." Note this applies to Chicago manufacture. There have been numerous reincarnations, Taiwan, China etc. After you find it, check the list on this site. by: 209.7.150.163
Hello all! I'm looking for the aluminum frame pump(stamped 'Made in England') to complete my 1967 Raleigh Superbe. These are the pumps on most older Sports and Superbe models which are held in place by bosses/brackets which are welded or brazed on to the down tube. Any one got one they will sell? Any information leading to the capture of one will be appreciated. Thanks, Alex by: 24.215.228.128
