MISC:   You wont believe this posted by: Joy on 8/27/2008 at 10:13:12 PM
I believe I have the original prototype Royal bicycle sent from England to D.P. Harris himself, in Rollfast building, New York. It is hand painted and in quite decient shape. I am interested in selling it, and I'm sure its a remarkable piece of history, but I would like to find a value for the bike. The proceeds will go toward my college education (Im going to be a nurse). If you can help me it would be greatly appreciated by myself and my family. Hopefuly luck has finally looked my way. Let me know if you are interested and I will send you a picture of the bike itself, the origin indicators, any flaws, and the serial numbers. Thanks.

When somebody says "I'll believe it when I see it" it usually means "I won't believe it until I see it - and maybe not then."
Please post pictures to Vin at Menotomy- follow the instructions in the Post a Picture to the Vintage Database screen.
You might also want to get in touch with Copake Auctions, and/or the National Bicycle History Archive (Leon Dixon). They can help with authentication.
