I've scoured the local shops, and haven't seen anything. Even the local bike co-op hasn't had one... I'd be willing to pay $50 or so for a black Triumph/Raleigh frame. It makes me worry that these frames are getting harder to find, maybe it's just my area (Pittsburgh). I missed an auction on ebay for a 1964 Raleigh complete bike. It would have been $100 including shipping... If anyone has a decent frame they're willing to part with for a reasonable price let me know. Thanks for all the help! by: 67.165.99.8

Hi folks, After spending most of the winter rebuilding a beautiful old mixte for my lady, I discovered cracks at the headlug interfaces when I was just about done. Dang. So, I'm in the market for a nice mixte again. I'd prefer: forged dropouts, brake routing on middle set of stays (no reverse sidepulls), fender/rack braze-ons, english threads, somewhat lightweight, and a nice, pretty color. I'm thinking along the lines of a: Raleigh Super Course MKII Mercian mixte Motobecane gran record or anything similar. Many thanks, John by: 159.105.45.47
hello john The bike is in great condition. The Hoods are excellent. It needs new tires and new bar tape. The Brooks B17 saddle needs help, but should be able to be saved with a little patch of leather underneath secured with some leather bond epoxy from Hom $290 Mike W.Taylor by: 83.229.90.9
Looking for a mens Royal Flyer bicycle around 1940-49. Parts do have made in England stamped on it and the serial/model number is B8308. by: 207.236.240.55
I came across a 1960's model AMF bicycle, it has 16" on the chain guard, the bike was given to me. I have found one pic on ebay that is the same bike but in a 26". It looks to me like it would have been for a little girl since the paint is a pink color, the tires are solid, no tube and are white walled. The bike is in overall good shape other than typical surface rust in a few spots no deep rust and the bike is complete and rideable. If anyone could point me in the right direction as to how to find out more about this bike that would be great. by: 69.247.31.111
