Greetings, I am very soon to be selling, on behalf of a good friend, a large and outstanding collection of vintage & veteran bikes. They consist mainly of a range of vintage British and Australian touring, track and road racing bikes and frames. Most are in excellent to immaculate condition. Makers include Hetchins (Curly!), Bates, Jack Taylor, Moulton (inc. an unused Moulton Speed) etc. There is also a mountain (literally) of vintage racing bike parts, a large library of bicycle literature and quite a few bikes and frames dating back to the early days (including Ordinaries and similar). We will try some sales online and others by private treaty (especially in the case of several beautiful 1930s racing bikes). If you are at all interested in monitoring the disbursement of this collection please send your email address to Sam at kabir@chariot.net.au (I live in Australia). This will be a private sale and your address will be used for no other purpose than notice of items to be sold. We welcome interest from individuals as well as museums and holders of bike collections. regards, Sam Powrie. by: 203.192.81.95

I have a three speed 1964 HUFFY Genuine English Lightweight, MADE IN ENGLAND, that I would like to sell. I don't know anything about bikes so please bear with me. It has the Sturmey Archer system and the brake pads say JOHN BULL. It does have flat tires, but seems to be in pretty good shape. It appears to have been stored in a garage most of it's life. It has a vinyl bag behind the vinyl seat. If anyone is interested please email me. by: 76.2.163.233
Two important Qs: 1. What's the frame size? 2. Where is it? by: 216.15.114.27
I'm sorry I have not been on here in a long time. I was expecting an email. :-) I am not for sure what to measure, but here is what I came up with. From end to end counting the tires it is 67 inches. It's a mans bike and to the top bar is 30 inches and it has 26 inch tires. The bike is in Western Nebraska. My husband said he could take off the pedals and we could ship it by UPS. If you are interested you can email me at trrust@hotmail.com by: 76.2.164.61
Looking to buy a Raleigh DL-1 in good usable condition; do not want a museum piece. Missed-out on one on e-bay so I'm still looking. Drop me a line with a photo if you have one for sale. I'm in the Los Angeles area of Southern California so I can pick-up if you're not too far away. Thx again, Thom. by: 63.204.42.231
Hello, I have most of a Raleigh that needs some work. I don't know if it is what you want. Three speed. Factory army green color. I'm about 100 miles north of you. I'll be going to LA in a few weeks. Haven't measured it but probably 57 cm. If interested I'll send picture. by: 75.209.249.97
Carlos- Thanks for the reply. I would be interested in seeing a photo of what you have. Where-abouts are you located? I'll be in the San Luis Obispo area later in February on business and will be traveling up the coast from the Los Angeles area. If thinkgs work out, I might be able to pick it up. Thx in advance, Thom. by: 63.204.42.231
