This is a significant piece. I would be most grateful to see some nice closeup pictures. I'm not in the market, I just want to see and learn...
As to value, I suggest you contact Copake auction for info. On copakeauction.com you can look at post sale info including last year's auction estimates and realized prices- from the looks of it they estimate the 19th C stuff pretty accurately.

FOR SALE:   Wards Hawthorne posted by: Wendy Ruch on 1/24/2008 at 4:23:58 PM
I'm looking to sell a pre-WWII Wards Hawthorne boys bicycle. It was my father's bike when he was a boy and he was born in 1927 so I assume the bike is circa 1935-40. It is in good condition, has baloon tires and a headlight on the front. The seat is in very good condition. Some rust on the handlebars. Single speed - pedal brakes.
If you are interested, I can send a picture.

Can someone give me a fair price to ask for my 1953ish Huffy Roadside Cruiser. It is MINT and never ridden. My dad won this in a Bank giveaway and we stored it CLEAN/tarped in the Barn ALL these years. NO rust. I'm ready to sell!

I also have a (3) grade 1959ish Triumph if someone can toss me some comments on it also.
