| I would be grateful for help in finding any of the the following destined for the restoration of an relatively unusual 1948 Raleigh sports imported into the USA by Raleigh with 3 speed SA, full chain case, and cable brakes. It is not the roadster. I need 1. front and back stamped steel brake calipers and springs (matte finish, no label, notch in the calipers to accept the springs; ideally the original version that requires a special cable with lead ends on each side); 2. brake levers (the originals are marked "patent" on the front (narrow end) of the levers and the handles themselves and very heavily chromed; would also consider replacing the handlebars, 3. a CG 3 SA trigger intended to be mounted under the handlebars with a long trigger 4. nuts and bolts to replace those that have rusted 5. cotter pins for the cranks 6. reflector housing (black rubber) Thank you in advance by: 24.41.28.86 |

| hello again, I posted a while back needing an asc axle to replace my stripped one, and I found it. I build the bike up and it's just not to my taste. I ride a couple single speeds I've built and I just don't like the slop. would anyone want to trade for a sturmey AM built up on a 26 1 3/8 rim? That's really what I want. I'd be willing to send the wheel out to any interested parties to check out before committing. Let me know! best, nikos-- NC, USA by: 71.120.220.196 |
