I have this bike that say Atala made in Milano,Italy.
Its green with Simplex componets,Super Iris rims,Mesinger
saddle, Weinmann 610,Vainqueur 999 front brakes and 750,999
rear brakes.Looks like an early 70s model? Serial number is
R713873.Is this bike the real thing or a replica?

It's a December of 1980 build, but probably considered an '81 model. The color is "Spicy Chestnut" -- lots of Schwinns were that color (starting in '75). It's the single speed model (there was also a 5-speed and a Deluxe 5-speed with a springer). Your's, being a transition model, has a mix of '80/'81 components.
