In the early 50's I had a bicycle with the emblem Cadilac on the post for the front forks. I have never seen another. I don't recall if this was the make or model. Can anyone offer information? Thankyou, Richard

I have this bike that says Atala made in Milano,Italy.
Its green with Simplex componets,Super Iris rims,Mesinger
saddle. It has Weinmann 610,Vainqueur 999 front brakes.
And 750,999 rear brakes. Looks like an early 70s model?
Serial number is R713873. Is this bike the real thing or
a replica?

No reason to replicate those parts, anyway. Early 70s is a good guess.

Note to Atala/Pixie/Caddy: so far, your input is clear and reasonable. Why not give yourself a name? Are you an old friend? Pretending to be no one fools no one, and pretending to lurk is just odd. This site is based on a tradition of community and cooperation, no?
