Hi, recently bought a lovely 1972 ladies Collegiate Sport, and just had to remove the pedals (left one was apparently about to fall off). Am looking for original replacement pair if possible, and can't seem to find any model # or confirm if the pair I love that just died are even the originals. . . anyone out there that can help direct me in this tres important matter? I want her to be restored to her former glory! OH, and I also need a replacement rear fender reflector. . . .Thanks in advance!!!!

I have a 70's era Schwinn 10 speed that uses a solid "push" cable instead of a stranded pull cable for the rear derailer.

Looking for available parts or a suitable source for fabricating something new.

Sounds like you have a Positron setup. You should be able to find parts at your local bike shop or on one of the auction sites.

I was at a bike shop and the owner said those parts are impossible to get and that if anything goes wrong you can change the crank and rear hub.too much work.Good luck finding those parts.

Looking for a Men's Raleigh Roadster (DL-l/Tourist) ideally from 60's to go with my wife's new yard sale find Roadster. Should be in good shape and as original as possible but non-working gear hub is ok as I have a replacement rear wheel.
