I have a 20+ year old Schwinn (kids with a removable cross bar (boy to girl conversion). The serial number is E50178. Could not find the serial number on the web site. Any info on the bike and what it might be worth is appreciated.

You have a Schwinn Bantam. The serial# should have the two-letter/six-digit system last established in 1970 until '83, and its worthiness depends on its condition.

I have a very clean and almost complete 3 speed Bauer. I will have it listed on ebay in the next couple of days. Everything is original on the bike. It was made in Germany.
