| I'm looking for a 1970's road bike frame and fork, preferably something that would have originally had Campagnolo components. Would like one that looks good, but that isn't functional (cracked weld, stripped bottom bracket threads, etc). Will use it for "art"; it will never be ridden. by: 71.34.89.1 |

Ridden 3 times, aunt bought the bike for me but unfortunately she didn't know about frame sizing and bought a frame that was too big for me, she bought another properly sized Competion for me, and said she would give it to my cousin but never did, and there it has been since 1972 until she recently passed away.Bike was stored inside in her celler NO RUST,NO WEAR, NEVER MESSED WITH!!!I nearly fell over when I saw it after all these years!!!Condition: New, 24" from center of BB to top of seat post(too big for me)33" floor to top of top tube. Things that make it only 99% out of a possible 100% and easy to fix:left leather toe strap missing, original cotton handlebar wrap slightly dusty, thats about it!! This classic beauty needs to be ridden and not stored!!! Make me an offer please.Pictures will be sent if requested. Thanks ED by: 68.56.230.95 |
