I have a Monarch Galaxie in pretty good condition. Minimal surface rust in a few spots. The whitewall tires are in really good shape. Does anyone have an idea of what this bike is worth?? Thank you in advance for your time. by: 24.180.147.25

Im looking for the decals (tank-chain guard)for a 1955 thunderjet (chain bike corp)I want to restore the bike. thanks Mick by: 67.149.16.64
Mick, I have a bike like yours that I bought at a swap meet when I was drunk about 15 years ago. I started restoring it, but have taken a new interest in it lately. These old bikes had the "Thunderjet" logo w/Jet Plane screen printed with paint on the tank and chain guard. They weren't decals. I am 61 and a dying breed of artists called Sign Painters. I can reproduce what you want in REAL PAINT!, not computer generated vinyl graphics. I have traced the logo for my bike and have kept it on file. If you're looking to have someone like me letter your bike authentically & exact, it would probably cost around $200. E- me back if even if that shocks you. I have to make a living, but it would be great to talk about the bikes even if you don't want my services. Thanks, hope to hear from you....Toby by: 64.40.51.66
