I have a friend who's not computer savvy but asked me to see if I could find out the rough value of an antique ornate brass search light bicycle lamp that he has. It's an 1897 lamp manuf. by Bridgeport Brass Co.... could anyone help me find out where I might dtermine the value? Thanks.

Those lamps are on the high end of bicycle lamps. Value depends on condition. Is all the nickle plating intact? Are the lenses and jewels in good condition with no chips or cracks? Is the mounting bracket included? Are there any dents? I have seen these in good condition sell for between $250 and $350.
