| My Grandmother won a bike from her bank back in 1976. It is a Huffy 10 speed women's bike with the word "Independence" on the top bar of the slope of the frame. It has a white seat with a red white and blue stripes and a gold eagle on the face of the seat. I can get more information if you want. I just want to price it for sale. Thanks. by: 24.116.185.146 |
| It's a garage sale item, Dan. If there's nothing wrong with it, mark it $20 and be happy if you get 12. by: 209.7.184.147 |

| HI, I got this perfect bike from a thrift store years ago and unfortunately it was stolen off my porch. It was (if I rememvber correctly) a schwinn collegiate, bright green, 5 (or 3?) speed, mens bike with tall handlebars like on a stingray. The frame was pretty light and it was just a fantastic bike. It was put together really nicely and didn't seem like someone had just stuck handlebars from another nmodel on, maybe custon? I'd really appreciate if someone could email with information on this model because I haven't found info on it anywhere and I am really feeling like I gotta track another one down sometime. | I have a Panasonic "Team Handmade" from the mid-eighties. It is a 15-speed, 21", deep blue. I have heard many good things about the bikes that Panasonic had manufactured and no longer does. There is no longer any information on their website. Can someone forward me some information about it and a possible value. I would be willing to sell for a reasonable offer. The bike is in Chicago.
