I have a very old bicycle frame. It has apatent #3 1895 on the seat. The seat has 2 leather pads shaped for the"cheeks." I can not identify the make. There is some red lettering saying: "THE" and the rest I can not make out. The chain is different form today's. I am looking for some help in identifying the bike. It also has wood handles coveed in leather washer shaped pieces and a brake lever that would create friction on the tire in front..Thanks for any help, It is a beauty

how about this for a wild guess with very little info: I'm guessing an early Schwinn "The World" bike. look for one and compare. hope this helps.

Hi, I just picked up a boys 26" red and white 61 Columbia firebolt. It's in fair condition I would like to know what to do with it. It needs tires and one headlight lens is missing. I think the bike was store out side for a while because the chrome is finely pitted as is the original paint. I don't know if i should restore it, customize it or just tune it up. Is there any value to it, is it rare?
