Hi. I'm looking for a 1980's steel Trek road frame. The only requirement is that it needs to have a 57-58 cm top tube. If you have a frame (or complete bike) for sale or know where I can find out, I would appreciate hearing from you at bey@bjc.hfh.edu. Thanks.
HI - I am after one of these, anyone with any clues where I can find one, I'd love to hear from you. thanks
looking for the head tube shroud and bottom chain /crank cover in good shape ....thanks ..also looling for any canadian made bikes or parts..DEAN
Ok .. I have the vin number.. I've searched a few ebsites and I cant find any place to check and match it ... The database on this site dose not include debutantes. Is there any websites out thier that I can enter the number for info?
Go to the Schwinn serial number chart on this website and find your number there. Or post the number and someone will tell you what year it was manufactured.
Could anyone please provide me with information on a Debutante early 60's possibly. The bike I have now is in need of restoration and has no metal tag on the front with the vin number so information has been EXCEPTIONALLY difficult to come by! Thanks for any tips! Chris
Schwinn made a model they called the Debutante in the early-mid sixties. Not sure if this is what you have though. Look for a serial number on the left rear dropout(where the rear wheel axle slides into the frame).
Thank you So much for the info I was able to read the vin number after a little steel woolk took some rust of .. I never knew there were other places besides the tag that stored that info!
There are websites with the Schwinn numbers listed by date(this site has such a list). If you don't get it figured out, post the serial number here and I can see if it looks like a Schwinn number and if it is, tell you when the bike dates to. Then I can possibly find it in the catalogs to provide you with other info about the bike.

Mr wendi |
This bike is about 4 years old but never ridden except for very brief test rides. It has been stored inside and looks brand new. See the Pashley website at: http://www.pashley.co.uk/ I can send photos upon request. Note: the latest model Pashleys, as seen on the web site, have a few different features, but the overall look is very similar. Frame: Traditionally lugged and brazed, individually handbuilt, 22.5". Fork: Roadster crown, hand brazed. Gears: Sturmey Archer 3 speed hub gear with trigger control. Handlebar: Chrome plated raised bar on alloy / stainless steel stem. Brakes: classic "rod-actuated" front and rear. Saddle: padded, sprung saddle (not the original leather Brooks). Features: Full chaincase, hand-lined enamelled fenders, ding-dong bell, kickstand, front & rear generator lights with internally-routed wiring, brazed on pump pegs on seat tube. Color: Regency Green. This is a classic "gentleman's" bicycle. The rod-actuated brakes, chaincase, elegant paint job, and overall appearance set it apart from most bikes seen in the US. Great commuter bike or "around town" machine. The 2003-04 Roadsters currently sell in England for 445 pounds (over $794 in US dollars).
