i just recently aquired this 1977 motobacane, and would likeb to know if its worth anything by: 69.85.135.219
That will depend on model...components...condition...and size of the frame. Give us all the info that you can find on the bike frame (decals) and components. by: 167.206.46.68
I have 2 ten speeds, decades old. One is a Legnano and the other a Soma Olympiad.. I would like to know how to figure their age by the serial numbers.. also interested in selling them if anyone is interested. by: 209.216.178.117
I'm looking for these item's for a friend, any help would be appreciated, a rear rack is also of interest. Ebay has not been much help of late. This is a new Balloon tire collector who would like to piece together his recent find. The rear fender which is on the Higgins is not correct. The center fender brace has a slight curve plus there is an odd(to me) bracket attached to the top of the rear fender where a rack would attach, any clue to the maker of this setup? Email me if you can help! Dan by: 12.34.182.162
Which tank? Chrome or painted fender? I may have the parts. by: 138.26.156.139
The front fender of his Higgin's was chrome under paint so my guess would be he would want a chrome rear fender, I will check with him this evening to be sure. The frame appears to be a Color Flow style, I have seen this tank with and without chrome accents. It sports a Bee-hive springer which makes me believe it might have been a Color Flow model. If you have a Tank and fender for this bike please Email me a cost + shipping price for both or individual parts and I will get back to you ASAP. Thank's for your reply! Dan by: 12.34.182.133
Boys bike or girls? by: 66.97.233.244
IT'S A BOY!..26in.bike, if the price is reasonable for the needed boy's tank or chrome rear fender for the early '50's higgins my friend would be interested, he doesn't own a computer so I'm doing the searching for him. I got him interested in collecting and it's been fun to watch his enthusiasm build. Dan by: 12.34.182.148
email me I have a rack. are the fenders peaked or not? I got peaked with the wrap around braces. by: 67.149.157.104
Do you have a headbadge for a Higgins? Mine has jewels in tank, rear carrier, no badge. thanks john (hamish) hamish1@aol.com by: 64.12.116.199

In order to clear up space in my garage for winter projects, I posted the following listings on eBay, starting at $1 or $2 with no reserve. The auctions have ended and the bikes are available, primarily due to S&H considerations. They can be picked up on Cape Cod (Orleans); I will deliver them as far the the canal; I am willing to discuss a transportation strategy for Southeastern Massachusetts; but, I will not package and ship them. NO EXCEPTIONS! They will be available as advertised for about another week. I would like to see the bikes put back into play, but I may have to sacrifice them to get the space I need. To access the listings on eBay, just search on the item numbers. #2279165495 - 3 Vintage Schwinn Men's 3-Speed Bikes; Collegiate, Racer #2279572540 - 1966 CCM Imperial 700 3-Speed Ladies Bicycle, VG I anticipate the bikes listed in #2278410531 and #2278816643 will also be available soon. (I will need to correct some of the descriptive information in this second listing.)
