WANTED: Vintage Japanese Bicycle

| Greetings,
I'm currently on a quest for a black-paint Japanese bicycle of late 1940s, early 1950s vintage. Require the brake lever be of the "full across" or "single" type, whatever it is called, wherein there is just one piece that pivots at or near the steering stem, ala vintage Raleigh.
Thanks!

| Hello, I am looking for a Motobecane Grand Touring from the early seventies. I am willing to trade a 1969 Schwinn Varsity cruiser style 10 speed. It is in great overall condition, with original spring seat, the handle bars are clean and shiney with no scratches and the original grips are perfect. The chrome fenders are in very good condition with only a couple of minor dents on the rear. I would like to find Motobecane Grand Touring in similar condtion as I bought one new in 1974 and had it stolen in Denver that same summer, it was white with black lettering. I can send pictues of the Varsity and I live in SW Minnesota. Thanks, Steven |
