I have a red 20 inch Schwinn that seems to be a Bantam due to the convertible bar, but there is no model name on it that I can find. This bike is in fair shape with all original parts. I have no idea of value so make an offer. The bike is in the DC area. Please email with questions or an offer. Ken

I have the following currently for sale: Schwinn Racer, red, good condition except for light surface rust on the rims, some rust on the handlebars (the rust on the bars is on the underside and has went through the plating in a small area) and a bit on the fenders. The decals are also faded. It's got a good SA 3 speed hub, new shift cable and new brake cables. I'm asking $25.00. See a pic of it here: http://www.geocities.com/frankiej321/racer Next is an old JC Higgins baloon tire bike. I have no idea what the age is on this one, maybe 50something? It's in decent shape. The paint is faded, the seat has a tear or two in it, and some moron repainted the wheels and the white trim with white house paint. There is also a small crease/ding in the edge of one of the fenders that will easily come out.The bike is a good solid project bike. This also has the old 1 inch pitch chain. This one is also $25.00. See it at: http://www.geocities.com/frankiej321/jchiggins.jpg I have the following free for the taking: Green Schwinn Hollywood ladies bike. Good frame and chaingaurd, but lots of rusty chrome and an MIA front fender. See it at: http://www.geocities.com/frankiej321/hollywood.jpg Also, I have a Schwinn bike that looks like a Stingray, with all the wheelie bike appointments (ape hangers, nanner seat, etc) but on the chaingaurd I can barely make out where it says "Spitfire". It's in rough shape, but the vinyl on the seat is decent with only one small tear, and the frame is solid, but the paint is poor. Free for the taking. Also free, a Schwinn Fair Lady in pretty rough shape. This one is puple with a flower covered seat. These bikes are located in Columbus Indiana, and I really don't want to ship 'em, so you'll have to make the pick up. Email me directly if you are interested or have any questions. Thanks.
I forgot to add this one to the above FS post. It's an AMF Skylark, a ladies middleweight (26x1.75 tires). It's unusual in that it has an entirely chrome plated frame. It also has two small top tubes instead of one large one. It has front and rear racks, with the rear rack having unusual trunacated cone shaped reflectors(one is broken off though) It's in real nice shape, with the decal on the chaingaurd being faded. Also note the unusual star shaped holes in the chainring. I'm asking $25.00 for this one too. See it at: http://www.geocities.com/frankiej321/amfskylark.jpg
The seat on the Skylark is NOT included with the bike, but I do have the seat that originally came with it that will be included. Thanks.
appreaciate any info on this bike rides nice, all original 10 speed paint is worn but not rusty approx. value ? thanks ...walt
I have an old bike- it's got to be at least 30 or 40 years old. It says it was manufactured by the Chain Bike Company out of NY. It is called a Thunderbird Custom Deluxe. I can't seem to find a serial number on it. Perhaps i'm just looking in the wrong place. anyway, I;m wondering if anyone knows anything about the bike. I;m looking to sell it but don't know what it is worth. It is red white and blue, has a head light and big wheels. Any information? interested?

Have these, not in very good condition. The Schwinn Varsity has a seat with a metal "Schwinn Approved" tag on the back. The sides say of the seat say "Schwinn Approved" embossed into the leather. Believe the bike to be a ten speed, since it has 5 sprockets. Schwinn Suburban could be a ten speed and the leather seat says "Darrco" or "Dassco", "made in Japan". Sears Roebuck Model # 236.472610 says Made in Austria on it's label, possibly a 3 speed? Is different set up from sprockets. ANYONE PLEASE GIVE ME THE VALUE OF THESE, IF THEY HAVE ANY?
