Ran across a program on cable this weekend about bicycles first use in the Military. It was an interesting show that detailed the 25th calvery regimin and how they did a 2000 test run on Spalding bicycles to see if they had a military application. The entire regimin consisted of all black soldiers with the exception of the leader. Interesting story from a bicycle and historic viewpoint. It was an hour long and was done like he Civil War special that PBS did some time ago. I did mamage to tape it from the beginning in case no one else did.

I will be selling a Bottecchia Giro d Italia that is approximately 54cm. The bike is from around 1970 and is flawless. It was ridden two or three times. Has the original frame pump, tee shirt that came with bike, original sew up tires still on the rims, Columbus tubing, original cataloge, original bike stand. The bike is white and does have a small crease in one sticker. Otherwise it is immaculate. Reasonable offers?

My boneyard is for sale, all sorts of weird old stuff, some NOS,a few dozen old 3sp bikes, 3 of them Ral. 20" folders, all sorts of tools ,equipment, welding, website etc. If you like , even the property with it, 4 bedroom house on 1.23 park like acres, mature fruit/nut trees, shrubs etc in Chilliwack BC, a "turnkey operation"! Or will sell separetely.
Poor health is the reason, its time for the keeper of the bones to retire.

I am selling a Customised Mk2 Raleigh Chopper.

The frame was beadblasted, primed, stoved, and then sprayed Ford panther black and stoved again. This is the exact colour match for the Black Prismatic Chopper.

The Handlebars are 24 inch Phat cycles bar.
The Wheels are 72-spoke front, 72 spoke rear coaster brake.
The Forks are Chromed bent lowrider forks
The seat is customised with yellow glitter vinyl
Chrome / stainless steel highback cissy bar
I have also got the original front forks to match in black.

I recently bought a Columbia bicycle at an estate sale. The owner said it was made in the 60's for Goodyear Tire Co. It is a men's bike with the whitewall goodyear tires. There are a few rust specks on the fenders but other than that it appears in good condition. The lettering is red ad white and the original paint is in good condition. I am looking to re-sell the bike and have no idea of it's worth.

Columbia made a full line of bikes from top of the line to bare bones. You will have to provide a better discription or a photo.
