I need a seat for my red Schwinn Wasp. Thanks to many of you who responded to my wife's quest to help me relive my childhood/paperboy days by directing her to this bike. I'm not a collector, just someone who wants to ride a bike with balloon tires. I wanted to get a two-tone seat with the "S" on it. I don't mind if the seat is a little shopworn. The Wasp and I are already that way. Also need to find a site that sells new 2.25 x 26 inner tubes. Thanks again for your help. Tom Jacobs, tjacobs3@tampabay.rr.com
A guy on e-bay has a lot of those S seats may have one in red his phone # is listed by his auction name I also think you can get the tubes from Maple Island sales in MO. (417) 682-6655 nice people to deal with good luck.none of these people are me by the way.
There are 2 of those seats for sale right now right here. Click on 'bikes and Parts for sale' at the top of the page. They have a yellow/white S saddle and a green/white S saddle. (Part numbers WASG and WASY)
Thanks to everyone for helping me, I bought a seat from Tom in NJ. I appreciate the responses and e-mails. I'll need your help/advice when I start putting the Wasp back together. Tom Jacobs, tjacobs3@tampabay.rr.com
