I have a chrome schwinn BMX frame with the round Schwinn Chicago head badge. It's built with Tange Aero tubing throughout, brazed on seat binder, and nice Tange Track dropouts. The decals are gone, unfortunately. Is this a Predator Aero? (I THINK that's what it is.) ByStickelbicycles at Yahoo.com by: 216.12.70.55

Hey Guys, Help. I found a bike which has the classic GT/PK Looptail frame, however the top bar on the handle bar is split, meaning; it has 2 bars as the top bar ( on the handlebar ). No decals/stickers and has front welded pegs with white plastic coverings over them. Also, it has Chen Lee brakes - colour is blue, with white accents, grips etc -oh yeahm blue side walled tires......what the hell is this thing ??? What should I pay for this ?? Honestly, the guys wants just $30.00 ...........Oh what to do ! Let me know............ Thanks to all, Peter Jubbley76@yahoo.com by: 69.148.19.122

i just recently picked up a late 80's dyno compe, and im just wondering if anyone knows if you can still get the original sticker set, most of the parts on it are orignal, the bars, neck, forks, crank, and brakes are all original, the paint it a lil rough, and the big downtube decal is unfortunately gone so id really like to restore it to its original set up, and hopefully find original parts, so if anyone has any info or knows of any suppliers, drop me an email, thanks and happy new year to all by: 141.154.51.246
I recently purchased a set of Shimano DX cranks NOS in the box. These are the beauties from sometime between 1980 and 1985 with the adjustable length crank arms. They are missing the bottom bracket bearing cups and bearings, but the splined BB spindel is there. Does anyone know whether there are compatible bottom brackets out there? Does anyone have any advice on bottom bracket set-up or happen to have a bottom bracket that I might purchase? Please let me know. Thank you very much for your help. by: 64.222.17.29

I have a Mongoose blue max that I have had since i was 6-7yrs old, Im 31 now. So I have had the bike for roughly 24-25yrs. I want to know how to find out what year it is? Someone said something about under neath on the crank hub area on the frame there are numbers, is this correct? Who can decifier them for me? The bike came with Moto Mag II rims, are they worth anything?. I converted the bike from BMX to freestyle when i was in middle school. It now has Peregrine Master rims on it, Mike Diamagez handle bars, and lots of other freestyle items.Dia comp brakes, odysse gyro. Can someone point me in the direction to find out how old it is, what it might be worth. Thanks for your time. by: 192.136.15.137

| Update on the stolen 20" BMX Cruiser Custom by West Street Bikes: Photo attached, and specific features below: *Satin black painted frame, custom made from Huffy frame (serial number on the right side of the headtube), other frame parts from Murray and Trek (note the dual diameter top tube - larger section has mounts for water bottle). *Chrome 18" front fork, off a Kent flatlander and had the flatlander stickers at time of thevery. Front 20" wheel clears this fork just barely. *36 spoke 20" rims painted red (NOT dished rims, as the 3D C.A.D. rendering indicates), with white tires. Rear tire is slightly stained in spots. *Red seat with small gold braces, silver seatpost *VERY tight frame geometry *Conventional 16/20" Murray/Magna BMX handlebars in red with black BMX grips *Black plastic pedals *Singlespeed setup with chrome crank, chrome chainwheel with swirl pattern. Last seen December 6th behind the West Street Bikes shop. Stolen approx. 1:00 P.M. Area of thevery was central Long Island, New York. Bike may be 100+ miles from site of theft - this bike may be anywhere on LI. Bike fans are urged to check thrift shops, junk stores, pawn shops and to keep an eye on the bikes around town.
