| I was given a GT Dyno bike last week. It cleaned up real nice. I'm not sure how much the bike is worth or its year? Its a GT Dyno (Tioga) with Dyno Spin Tech bars, Dia Compe brakes, Peregrine Compact crank, Peregrine rims, and a GT pro seat. If this is something your looking for or if you could help me find out its worth please e-mail a reply. |
AGE / VALUE: Dyno Slammer II

| I've got a Dyno Slammer I purchased back in 95. I was wondering on how rare it is and what it might be worth. I upgraded it with a 4 bolt GT stem Dyno 4 piece handlebars, nippons front and rear double bolt s post clamp and 48 spoke rims with sealed hubs. One piece Gt crank and platform pedals one piece aluminum Gt with replaceable pegs. Its truly retro in appearance compared to anything I ride next. Its black with multicolored graphics. Has always been stored indoors. Any info on value and origin would be greatly appreciated. |

| Well, the truth hurts. Its a Taiwan made bike and its NOT old school. Probably not worth much. Overseas made junk, old or new, doesn't fetch much. Sorry. |

AGE / VALUE: cleaning aluminum techmatic bearings

| HI
I have a set of old school tarnished redline techmatic bearings that are in great shape. I believe they are aluminum. Any ideas on polish to remove the tarnish and give them a nice shine again? I believe they were shiney when they were new. If they are not aluminum, please advise what they are made of. They are the old sealed bearings with the indentations for Redline stickers. Please post the advice here so others who may be doing the same thing can learn something.

WANTED: Looking for Mid 80's freestyle bikes with double tube top frames

| Hello,
I'm an aggressive buyer on any/all mid 80's freestyle bikes/frames with double top tubes and without 990 mounts (if it has 990 mounts, it's too old for my collection) I currently own the following: RL20-II, Haro Master, Zeronine freestyle, Vector, Ozone, General Osborn (need a better one, do you have?) Torker2 freestyle, VDC type (trying to identify, not sure), Yuki and TrickstarII (I know, it has 990's, but this is the only exception). I need a kuwahara magician or any others you can think of. If you have something I currently own, I may still buy it. Thank you for your help! James. |

| I have a 1987 Kuwahara Magician Ex. It has had some wear and tear (which pretty much any well-used freestyle bike got). I still have the original handlebars, but there is a set of Peregrine bars on it, as well as a Peregrine seatpost clamp. The seatpost is slightly bent. The original pedals didn't last past June of 1987. Also, my brother had bought a 1986 Kuwahara Bravo KT that same year. It is pretty much original (pedals grips, and even the tires)except the Rotor was removed (I believe I still have that...somewhere)and an extra-long rear brake cable was put in its place. The Bravo KT is in very good condition, as my brother didn't have the same death-wish tendencies that I had. What is the value of these? Thanks. |
