Hey, I don't think that bike sucks... in fact, I recently bid on it. I hope I win, that bike is SWEET! My friend had a moto bike but it was stolen, so I think I'm going to get him an early birthday present. Thanks, Mitch
So I finally decided to pull my ol' Torker 26" Cruiser (# 000070) out of the closet and do a resto job on it. My current setup is: Torker 26" F/F Aerodyne bars Torker six bolt neck Tioga cro-mo cranks Ukai wheels w/Shimano (DX, I believe) hubs Mitsuboshi Comp III tires Kashimax Aero seat Fluted alloy seatpost Suntour clamp Grab On MX3 grips Dia-Compe MX1000 brakes I'm sure lots of these parts weren't around until after the bike was made, so I'd greatly appreciate any input you folks might have regarding what the correct equipment for the bike actually is. I'm also looking for a set of old school 3 piece cranks. If you have Tourneys, Suginos, or something of that ilk available for sale, please let me know. Finally, I need decals. My old decals are there, but they're a bit tattered as a result of my use of the bike as primary transpo as a kid. If you have any info on where I might be able to find old school Torker decals (chrome background with black outlined solid yellow letters), please let me know. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to offer! Ali Rashidi

I do a lot of skateboarding and I cant get that scooter off my mind. I would appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you for your time and consideration, Alex |
I'm looking for A Thruster f/f set. Anything besides the Tri-power.
What can anyone tell me about this frame and the company that made it? I know it is made of titanium frame and fork and that it is a mini but nothing else. The stickers are PHASE II.
Looking to buy any old Torker stuff. Especially a stem or frame pad (snap or velcro) I also really need a "yellow" pair of Torker 24" cruiser 1 1/8th threadless forks. Please email me.
Does anyone know something about the first BMX bike i got @ 25 years ago. I was going to get a Mongoose, but this one caught my eye. It was made by the Matthews Motocross co., and had great equipment and a monoshock inside the frame. I believe i have one of the first off the assembly line, is there a way to find out. It is in fairly good condition and all original from paint, stickers and tires. Any help on manufacturer or value appreciated. Thanks
Worth pretty much $$$$$ ! Is it for sale ?
got a matthews for sale on e-bay myself.ad #2110018393
Have almost all the parts for a chrome Competition Sting BMX bike. Have a used handlebar, crank, fork for a Sting, and an extra rear wheel. What I have NOS is the frame, seat post, seat, cables, calibre, brake levers, front and rear rims, tires, gooseneck, pedals, grips, extra cog, team schwinn crank, extra brake lever, rear brake calibre in red accent, extra fork and an extra front wheel. Asking $250 shipped.
I know a lot more about ballooners and sting-rays than I do about BMX, but I just had to pick this one up.It is a chrome-colored Schwinn BMX. It only has "SCHWINN" written on the down tube. The reason I got it was that it has elements of older Schwinns: Black flat-bladed front forks. Electro-forged butting and the standard Schwinn frame-attached kick stand. Is this a Scrambler? Thanks.
no
Thanks.
I would like to know if there is a place in regina sask where I can buy decals for a dyno bmx bike
Go to www.danscomp.com and look through there auctions
Hey.... Check out WWW.stickemup.com (page 12 or 13), they've got cool decals and they're cheap too!
Hi all. I just picked up this bike, and am not sure what it is. It's a 20" wheeled BMX "freestyle" bike, blue frame, blue hard seat. Early detangler. But I've never heard of the name before; it's marked "Aerolight" and "Saint Tropez." Was this a cheapo department store-type bike or a halfway decent ride? any ideas? I have never heard of this brand name before, any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
These were lower end bike shop bikes. You could usually find them in smaller shops. These bikes were inexpensive but they were also rock solid and held up quite well. Most of the Saint Tropez bikes I see are from the mid to late 80's.
Thanks! I asked because the stem threads are stripped, and if I have to replace the stem I'm goingto have to drill another one to fit the detangler cable through... if the bikes are well made like you say, it should be wortht he few minutes it takes. Thanks for the info!
I have a 1976 redline sqaure back, I am looking for a neck and cranks for that year. Also would like to find seat post and stickers. Will pay top dollar(redline)already have forks and "V" bars
Looking for a DRP BMX frame; I am told they are fairly rare. Drop me a line with any information- thanks
I have a cycle pro, Greg Hill. Its chrome and all orignal with decals in good condition. If any one can tell me a relative value please email at Laxdman@Yahoo.com thanks
