I need a rear Skyway Tuff Wheel with a steel hub, will buy a set if you won't sell just one, I may take all of them if you still have them. The only requirement is that they definitely have early model STEEL hubs, the star shaped old ones, before they were made of alloy, and be 20" BMX style with freewheel threads. Please respond, I need these for my delivery trike!
need some definitive answers here. having trouble identifying the differences between the hutch racer and raider models, also the differences between the expert and pro models. and how do i tell if its a hollywood or judge frameset? salvaged a cycle-pro blitz f/f and bars. paint is pretty sad and needs new decals. this is a very small 20" model. for sale if anyone is interested, $60 shipped in the US.
I'll try to help with some of your questions. The raider was the cheap import sold mostly at the Western Auto type stores. If you flip the bike over and look at the bottom of the tubes, You will see drainage holes in all the tubes On the Raider. As for the difference between the expert and pro, You will find the Top tube length shorter than the pro. The Judge and the Hollywood were the same frame just painted different with a different sticker set. The difference between the Judge/Hollywood and the Pro Racer are the dropouts are a bit thicker and the top tube is slightly "ovalized" where it meets the seat mast.
Actually You are correct about the drainage holes on the Raider. The Raider had the same geometry as the Expert Racer. The Early Pro Racers (un serial #'ed) had a geometry all their own. In 84 Hutch came out with The Hollywood, which was similar to the Pro Racer with a little different geometry. Later that year all the Pro Racers were switched to the same geometry as The Hollywood. The Hollywoods came in all the crazy Hutch colors and the Pro Racers came in The more average colors. The Judge was a completely different frame, oversized top and down tubes, thick dropouts on the frame and fork(like the Trickstar), and a much steeper headtube angle and shorter top tube than The Hollywood or Pro Racer. The Judge came in Candy Red, Candy Metalflake Blue, White, Hutch Futuristic Black, or very rare Chrome.
I am building the bike from scratch, most parts are NOS. One of the last parts I need is the number plate. The plate I had was called Aerolite (I think). It was see thru red plastic with a white area for the numbers. It had 2 extra pieces of see thru clear red plastic. One that went in the middle of the frame, and the other piece was around the dropouts. All pieces attached with zip ties. I can't seem to find any info on these anywhereDo you know of this product? Does anyone have info that can lead me in the right direction? Thanks Lionel
I'm looking for a white Hutch Tim Judge f/f in very good condition with all stickers, and also a blue Kashimax aero seat. Please email me if you can help. Thanks,Burt burtw3@msn.com

Are your Skyway frames T/As? If so, what condition are they, and are they c/w decals, and are they chrome or white? How much are you looking for? Thanks!
I am interested in any rear mag wheels that you may have that meet the following criteria: 20" BMX, freewheel threads of STEEL composition. I need steel and not any alloys because I have to weld to it. Check with a magnet or look for the presence of rust. Please respond ASAP, I need this for my delivery trike.
i used to have an old bmx mid '80s. it had a two piece frame with a single coil shock bolted just under the top bar. it had three bolt holes in the shock plate to adjust the shock. it never had a name on it when i owned it. does anyone know what make it was. id like to look for one and i need something to start with. thanks
sounds like an old huffy monoshock.
so did i, it weighed about a thousand pounds. i thought it was a cool bike at the time.
Does anyone know anything about the schwinn Gremlin? Are they hard to find?Worthless?
Gremlins started showing up in the late 80's and are still being made today. They are Schwinn's 16" boy's bike. They are pretty tough and sold well so there will be plenty of them available for a long time.

If anyone is interested I have a pair of USA silver, aluminum, hollow axle Hutch hubs mounted to a pair of chrome 20 X 1.50 Araya rims. These were recently built with new stainless steel spokes. Hubs and rims are slightly used, but are in excellent to almost mint condition with barely noticeable brake pad wear to the rear rim. Otherwise these are in exceptional condition. Hubs still have original Hutch stickers! These are ready to ride and have been trued up by a bike shop. Real tight! I sold the Hollywood f/f that these were going to go on, so now I have no need for these. I should have a photo tonight or this weekend. Email me if you’re interested. Thanks.
If you want to clean up those wheels to get a better price here is an idea for you to try. There is a product called MOTHERS ALUMINUM WHEEL AND MAG POLISH it will clean those wheels up S W E E T!!!! It will also remove the marks from the brake pads on the rear wheel. You would be suprised at how well this product will clean those wheels! I use the stuff myself ALL the time and it does a kick ass job! Good luck James
