i just acquired a older 20 in bmx style bike that i have never seen before, it has a styled curved frame somewhat similar to an old schwinn. it has cheap plastic fenders front and back, but heres the funny part. it has an Earles type front suspension, a true trailing link setup on it. never even seen an Earles on a real motorcycle and here is one on a bike. Its stickers are gone, so i have no idea what it is. the front forkset is made in Italy. I would like to know what it is, because i may want to chop it, i am turning all the cool curved frame bikes i get into choppers, with forks off 27 in tenspeeds. if its worth 2 cents i wont. can get a pic if anyone is interested in helping, i know its not a schwinn, and it seems this is just schwinn room, but would be nice if anyone had a clue.

I just bought a very similar bike like the one you were describing in your letter. On my bike it say's "rock around 20"". It has yellow plastic fenders and yellow plastic (number plate?), it also has a gear shift on the frame. Is this similar to yours?? If it is and you find out info could you e-mail me. thanks

mine is ser #hc1873xxxx black frame, blue plastic fenders like off a late 70s cheap dirt, toy bike. blue tires, and blue pads. its close enough of a schwinn stingray copy frame, that i am sure i am going to chop it. I get girls stingrays and take the goodies off them, makes cool looking bikes.

i've got a couple of seats that are of no use to me.
one is a schwinn hurricane seat. it does have one fixable rip in it.
the other is a huffy seat. it is about 16" long. says huffy down the sides
and is in nice shape with one minor scuff on the left side.

Can anyone direct me to or provide me with any information on the old Suzuki "Works" bmx bikes? Years they were made, cost new, colors available, whatever someone may know. A friend has one that is truly "like new" except for bad tires. I've wanted one since my neighbor got one and I was still riding my spray painted Dirt Squirt. What would be a fair offer on my friends bike?
