Who manufactured the Firestone brand in 1970 and when was the last Firestone bike produced ? by: 72.74.8.184
I'm wondering if someone could help me out with the measuerment from the middle of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat post on a 1965 mens middleweight. I bought an unnamed frame that is dated 3/15/65 and the measurment is 19 1/2" form the middle of the BB to top of seat post..it seems to be a little long compaired to my wifes 1955 middle weight and I was wondering if this is a larger frame than I think. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Hi to all...and Thanks! Doug by: 76.126.113.134
I've just acquired a beautiful white with pink pin stiping, 26 inch Schwinn Hollywood girls bike. It appears absolutely original. I've double-checked the serial number and it is: A56427. Is this a 1953 model? It does have the "S" on the seat. Red-line rear hub, stamped metal Schwinn plate on the front. Any ideas? by: 69.14.252.133
Hi, I have a 1948 (D157416) Girls Schwinn bike. It has facial rust but looks mechanically sound. Looks like someone painted red over Blue as the red is peeling. The bike seat has a big S on it and a "Schwinn approved" Label with "made in usa" embossed below the label on the back of the seat. Looks like everything on it is original. See pic . A little dirth has we had tossed it aside and it sat in the weeds for awhile. I have two offers on it from locals. Oh yeah it has star chainring and it looks like the origianl seat post has some kind of decal painted on it. Email me for picture. Like to learn a little more on it. by: 75.121.4.122
would like to look at it, have another 48 ladies by: 68.188.219.34
Saddles didn't have S on them in 48. And according to my list, 48 serials didn't have 6 digits after the letter. Is the number under the bottom bracket? If not, that's a 61. by: 209.7.150.163
could someone tell me something about this bike? I found one and don`t know anything about it. Jim by: 98.216.121.233
