I was steered to www.bikepartsusa.com by a lad on another bike site. They have all sorts of the old obscure tire sizes. Hopefully they have what you need. I found my tires(650B) there. Good luck in your quest.

This poor old bike was definatly a deluxe bicycle in its day. The ID plate is still on the bottom bracket mod.#18039A103, ser. A1467084. Help me ID this bike better. There are some cool parts here. I have posted a clessified here.

Bill,

I have a old firestone cruiser girls bike apparently about the same vintage as yours, with three coats of paint. I would appreciate your sharing any info you receive.

Thanks,

Ed. Torbeck

Do you still have the parts? Can you email pictures? We need a tank, front forks, front fender light and seat. Have you ever seen any decals for this bike?

Thanks!

I bought a schwinn spitfire 5 from a retired couple. They got too old to walk, so they sold me this old schwinn. It's a neat old bike in super shape. It's black and white(original colors)I gave $40 for it and do not know what it's worth. It looks like motorcycle hubs on it. Anyone have a clue?

Marcelo,as your bike starts with an I--it's likely an early post war frame---maybe 1946?
Some guys that know this stuff have put together this link to help I.D. pre 1948 schwinn frames
