Did Schwinn produce bikes with stainless steel fenders ? I had a early 60's bike that I thought had some. Old Schwinn bicycles I see for sale are described with chrome fenders. Please help clear this up, Dennis

I have a Columbia Bromleigh womans 3-speed and can't find any information about it: year, etc.
I only found two different numbers on the head tube but don't think they are the serial numbers. They are: 81290 and 3 098 0331.
The bike is tan (light brown) with red/orange/brown designs on frame and brown pinstripes on fenders.
The headbadge says "Columbia Mfg. Co, Westfield Mass USA."
I would greatly appreciate any information anyone has on it. Thanks!

I couldn't find those numbers.Check the three speed hub for a name and numbers.If it is Sturmey Archer it will have year and month on it.Look for decals that may indicate actual place of manufacrure."Made in"
Describe the shift trigger.If the pedals are original with reflectors it would indicate approximately 1970 or newer.

The tank alone is worth at least $100. chaingards go for $35-$45 in good condition.
