someone earlier advised caution when dealing with chestnut hollow. I would like to know what happened and what they meant by the remark. I plan on buying extensively from them since they are the only ones who I've found have the parts I need. if there is a problem I would like to hear about it sooner than later. they seemed very nice when I called them. thanx. Scott P.S. you can e-mail me if you are uncomfortable posting your opinions on the forum. by: 71.105.115.163
Your right ,Scott. Iwish the scribe would come forward and tell us the problem. Iknow chestnut hollow is very expensive, but I have talked to them, and they are nice people. they have the parts, for sure! by: 69.164.66.50

Hello, I just bought a bike at a swap meet, I think It's an old schwinn but I don't know the year or make. It looks like the 31-40 balloon tire bikes on this site, but it has a gas tank with two small headlights on the front of it, they look like eyes on the front of the tank. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You! by: 64.162.170.222
can you send or post a picture? might help. what tire size is it? I'm guessing from the description of the lights that it's a mid '60s middleweight, possibly a Hawthorne, or a Firestone. I've seen a few with the lights as you described them. thanx. Scott by: 71.105.115.163
You are likely to locate the serial # at the back of the frame. Once you do, write it on a piece of paper and then click on to the serial # charts on this site. Good luck!! by: 199.179.238.63

Does anyone out there know a lot about 50's Rollfasts? I have a 50's middleweight with a 2 speed bendix coaster brake hub which I believe is stock but I do not know it's model name or the date it was built. I would like to sell it but don't know what it's worth. Can anybody help me with some or all of this info?
