i have a huffy galaxy, i'm not sure a of year, i saw a picture of the huffy camaro and my bike looks similar. The bike has a two piece tank that holds 2 d-cell batterys that power the light. i'm trying to locate a picture and a light assembly for this bike. i have most of the parts except the bulb covers and chain guard. i have been unable to locate any info on this bike and your help would be greatly appreciated. by: 24.58.58.201
I also have a Galaxie model identical to yours, and Huffy made them in the mid-60's between 1964 to 1966. Mine came with a badly warped and discolored bulb cover so I feel your pain there. There's no serial # chart for Huffys on this site, but you can call 1-800-USA-BIKE for serial # info. by: 199.179.239.32

If you're interested in finding out the exact year of your Galaxie, the the last digit of Huffy's year of manufacture can be determined by the serial #'s 1st digit. by: 199.179.239.201

Most likely you never will.Might find a photo in a catalog sometimes.Tandems were special order type bikes not many built. So they are rare but still not valuable just because of it.Put your best girl on it and ride--everone will wave at ya! by: 69.151.98.53

HEY GUYS IM GOING TO ESTATE AUCTION THIS WEEKEND AND THEY HAVE ADVERTISED A 1943 SCHWINN BICYCLE AT THIS SALE,THEY DONT SAY EXACTLY WHAT KIND OF SCHWINN THOUGH!! CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WHAT MODEL SCHWINNS WERE MADE IN 1943???? by: 152.163.100.201
Why don't you cool it and wait patiently to find out when you go there? Don't hold your breath and go digging up everything on the Schwinns of 1943 - for all you know their "1943 Schwinn" might be selling a Cruiser 7 or Rolling Rock that they've convincingly weathered by sticking it in their backyard with the weeds. Have a bit of patience my good fellow. -Kurt by: 205.188.116.198
