| I've been looking for a budget minded project bike to restore/kustomize. I found a guy that is selling a matching boys/girls set of early 60's Murray Sonic Flight that he says are in decent rideable condition. The mens bike is in parts (but all parts are there, which is okay due to my intention of re-painting it. Anything I should be looking for with this bike? I have restored a 70's era cruiser, mostly with aftremarket accessories, but I know my way around a bike. He's only asking $100 for it, and I'd have no problem spending another $100 working on it. Any help would be appreciated. by: 66.12.231.218 |
| I say, 'Go for it!' Whatever you had to look for while restoring the 70's cruiser would pretty much apply here, and if you can't restore to OG status like you want, customizing should almost always be your plan-B. Good luck! by: 199.179.239.246 |
